Cromie — Italian plural of colour — as a system of tonal relationships, as method. The collection works on the velvet surface not through print or embroidery, but through artisanal cut and composition: velvet panels in different shades are arranged according to a calibrated geometric grid, building a design that is simultaneously structure and palette.

Velvet — in its capacity to absorb and return light differently depending on the angle — amplifies the chromatic effect of the panel composition: each section shifts in intensity with movement, making the quilted bedspread or quilt a visually active element within the room rather than a simple layer of cover. The hand feel is that characteristic of quality velvet: dense, quiet, with a drape that gives visual weight to the piece even on a made bed.

The colour combinations are designed to build harmonic contrasts — not random ones — between panels: the result is a layered effect that reads differently close up and from a distance, at home in both contemporary bedrooms and more eclectic interiors.
